STATEMENT:
Yumi Ice Cream Company is dedicated to continuous improvement in the delivery
of quality pre-packaged ice cream products to our customers using distribution
systems that are the industry standard.

GROUND:
Yumi Ice Cream Company was established in 1986 in Irving, Texas. At the
outset, we committed to provide a profitable and well-merchandised Ice
Cream Program for all channels of the trade in the markets we operate.
We also set out to operate and maintain the most immaculate and efficient
fleet in the industry. Fourteen years have passed and the original Yumi
business philosophy remains. Today, Yumi services over 6,000 accounts
across Texas from operation centers in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin,
and San Antonio.
MORE YUMI FACTS:
1. Yumi is the exclusive distributor of Nestle Ice Cream single serve
impulse products to C-stores, grocery stores, and food service outlets
in key Texas markets. Nestle initially awarded Yumi the area of North
Texas as an exclusive territory. In 1999, due to Yumi's remarkable growth
and consistency in day-to-day performance, Nestle added Houston, San Antonio,
and Austin markets to Yumi's exclusive territory.
2. Yumi's current markets include all of North Texas, including the DFW
Metroplex, the I-35 corridor to DFW including Temple, Kileen and Fort
Hood, Greater Houston, Galveston, Beaumont, San Antonio, and Austin.
3. In January, 2000, as a result of a joint venture between Nestle and
Haagen Dazs, Yumi acquired exclusivity for Haagen Dazs products in Yumi's
entire market area.
4. In 1997, Yumi started up a Special Events Program in the Dallas and
Forth Worth markets. Due to the program's success, it has been expanded
to the entire Yumi market.
5. The Wholesale Division, a separate Yumi business unit, is operated
from the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Irving locations.
